The Night Kitchen meets The Night Bathroom

Milo and Calder like Maurice Sendak's The Night Kitchen, with its "Milk in the batter" refrain. The boys also like playing guitar and drums. And, like many boys their age, they like talking about poop. Now sometimes combining three different things you like can be tricky. But when the boys attempted it recently I thought the result was kind of catchy. I tried not to take its Oedipal theme too personally. Check out the video (it may take a minute or two to load):




Note that at the end Milo says he's only pretending, while Calder, currently among the world's most violent people, says "I'm going to do it." Perhaps that is why it is the middle of the night and I am writing this post, rather than sleeping soundly.
