Introducing Zola Violet Weinberg!

It's been a while since I last posted and that's because Ms. Zola Violet arrived almost three weeks ago, on January 17 at 10:50 pm. Zola was supposed to arrive today (February 5) but decided, based upon her mother's sage advice, that meeting her brothers and parents earlier rather than later was prudent. Zola was teeny tiny at birth, weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces and measuring 20 1/4 inches in length.

Zola has a very sweet disposition and has charmed her family members accordingly. Both big brothers dote on her, especially Milo, who really likes to hold and snuggle her, cooing all the while, seemingly enchanted because “she’s just so cute!” Calder seems to like her too—bestowing kisses on her tiny head and delighting in her awake moments, asking Mommy "when she'll talk?" Justin and I, in our somewhat lucid, albeit sleep-deprived moments, are just happy that Zola’s healthy and that the boys don’t seem to be blaming her for the momentous disruption in their daily lives, at least yet.
