(Milo took this photo!)A week ago we went for a hike at Congaree Swamp National Monument, which was Zola's first foray into nature (other than our backyard and various playgrounds). Zola slept throughout the hike, waking only to eat and have her diaper changed en plein air. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the swamp, including "fishing" with sticks, running along the trails, checking out swamp mud, catching minnows in Wise Lake, swinging on vines, and hitching a ride in our red wagon when their little legs were exhausted.
