Kindergarten

Today Milo started elementary school at Caughman Road.

He sat patiently through the hour-long orientation attended by parents and children of the primary Montessori classes. Then he quickly followed his teachers, Ms. Strickland and Ms. Smith, to his classroom, leaving Daddy, Zola, and me well behind him in the hallway.

Milo paused before entering the wonderful classroom and then took in the work centers with all their interesting materials and manipulatives. Milo was especially captivated by the math manipulatives, which his teachers assured him he would learn to use tomorrow when he has his first full day of school (from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm). We really hope Milo's level of enthusiasm and joy of learning continues throughout the year. Wow, kindergarten!

Wow Milo I am so proud of you, going to Kindergarten. What a great picture of you with the Space Man, do you think you want to be an astronaut? I just showed your Poop in the Batter song with my girlfriend Yael and her Mom (former artistic gymnast) Batia who love the song with Calder. Love you, Stinky Uncle Ben
