Yesterday the boys and I visited the local zoo for the first time (http://www.riverbanks.org/), which is about a 15 minute drive from our house. The zoo is lovely and the guys had a good time, despite the sweltering heat. We were there for the feeding times of the sea lions, gorillas, and tropical fish, and visited with "Linus" the black vulture. Milo also had his first pony ride on "Taylor" the pony and asked "if he could do it again the next time we visit the zoo." I have a feeling we'll be visiting the zoo often.

What size jodphurs does Milo need and does he have his own helmut yet? Riding is right up there next to reading in life's accomplishments.
And his equitation in the photo is just superb!!

Good to see that he is on to a family tradition, enjoyed by his Great Grandparents, Grandmother and "once removed" Cousin.
That would be Cousin twice removed...
